The FAN6754MR (6754MR) is a highly integrated, green-mode Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) controller manufactured in an 8-pin Small Outline Package (SOP-8). It is primarily used as a power management IC to drive the switching power supply (SMPS) section in electronic displays, such as LCD monitors, TV power boards, and power adapters.

• Function: Primary-side PWM controller designed to minimize standby power consumption.
• Package Type: SOP-8 (Surface Mount Device / SMD).
• HV Startup: Features a built-in high-voltage startup circuit to reduce external component count and power loss.
• Protection Mechanisms: Includes brownout protection, over-temperature protection (via an external NTC thermistor), cycle-by-cycle current limiting, and open-loop protection.
